Thanks. Will have to check these out !! ☺
Thank you 🙂 Best wishes
Flash fiction uh? good name, I didn’t really know what to call my short, 200-500 word stories. I think I will adopt that!
Flash Fiction will be the perfect term to use for stories between 200-500 words. There are also Micro Stories which have smaller word counts. Wikipedia contains some good details on the names of different story types associated with word lengths 🙂
You’re very prolific! Impressive. I have just read a few of these and think there’s some really great ones there. Thanks for liking my flash fiction it has encouraged me to write more. I have decided this year to turn many of my incomplete longer short stories into flash fic. I feel I’ve found a rhythm for them. Flash fiction is so much about rhythm. I am also writing a YA novel as part of a creative writing PhD – but it’s a long project and writing short and COMPLETING a story feels great! 🙂 looking forward to receiving your updates and new work! 🙂 x
Hi Sarah. Thank you so much for reading some of my flash fictions and for commenting, it’s much appreciated. I agree that flash fiction is about the rhythm, and I guess it’s creating that line between story and poetry which I love. I also love the editing to reach a number of words…which helps to stop my rambling haha. You have some wonderful projects to work on! I look forward to reading more of your work. Best Wishes 🙂 Donna
