Hello Readers,
Hot news! I am a participant in Camp NaNoWriMo April 2014!
In April, I will be writing the first draft of my debut novel (a psychological thriller/horror), and Camp NaNoWriMo is going to be my retreat in achieving this. In Camp NaNoWriMo I am a member of a cabin of twelve writers, all wanting to achieve a long-length piece of written material. Every day we will add our word counts onto the website, discuss our achievements and problems, and help keep each other motivated to the end of the month.
This is my first attempt at a written piece this length, and so I have set what I believe to be a workable goal.
1667 words per day = total of 50,000 words in 30 Days
You can keep track of my word count on my Facebook page.
Wish me luck!

Ooh good luck!! I’ll look forward to reading about your progress!
Thank you 🙂
good luck 🙂
Thank you 🙂
I wrote my first novel eight years ago over the course of a month. Looking back, the finished product was a pile of garbage. Do I regret writing it? Hell no! I had a great story, and plan on revisiting it soon to polish it up with the grammar and English skillset I now possess–two things I didn’t have when I wrote it. The only regret that I have is that I thought so low of it after I was done, and as the result, it’s stayed on the shelf for as long as it has.
With that said, I wish the best of luck to you. I’d like to see the end result 🙂
Thanks so much for your message. The Camp NaNoWriMo has now finished and it was a great experience.I must admit that some of my days writings are not as good as other days, but I forced myself on nevertheless. It is amazing what new ideas can come out of free-write – and the fact that you don’t have to analyse what you write is so freeing. Well done with writing your novel! When I look back a few years ago, I spoke and spoke about it, but now I am finally putting it into action. Us writers have to push each other long – it’s the best motivation 🙂 Good luck with your writing. I will visit your blog shortly 🙂
